Manchester City's rivals in the Premier League have been told to 'be wary' if Harry Kane arrives at the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The England captain has informed Tottenham of his desire to leave, as he hunts the trophies that have escaped him so far in his career, and City are on the hunt for his signature.
Pep Guardiola is on the lookout for a new striker following the departure of club legend Sergio Aguero, who has joined Barcelona on a free transfer, and there are few who could fill his boots.
However Kane, who finished as the leading scorer and top of the assists charts in the Premier League last season, certainly has the required calibre.

As a result, England icon Terry Butcher has warned the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea that City will be even harder to overcome if Kane joins Guardiola's ranks.
"Sergio Aguero didn’t play many games for Manchester City this season and they still romped home. They’re a very flexible team, they don’t have to have a recognised striker in the team but they would like options because it’s a Plan B or a Plan C for them," he told PlayOJO.
"If Manchester City could go and sign another top-class striker then wow, that’s going to be a massive problem for the rest of the Premier League. They're a quality side, their movement is exceptional and they’re horrible to play against because you never know who’s going to pop up.
"They're great to watch in the final third because they unlock defences so easily but that comes through good movement and hard work.
"I’d be wary if I was Man United, Liverpool or Chelsea I’d be looking at Manchester City and saying I hope you don’t sign anybody else because our task is going to be even harder."
Kane's future is unlikely to be resolved until after England's exploits at this summer's European Championships, with the Three Lions' first game coming against Croatia on Sunday.
