Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford gets Ronaldo treatment as FA Cup hero copies celebration

Chesterfield ace Armando Dobra copied Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford's goal celebration after scoring twice in the National League side's FA Cup thriller with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Dobra, who joined the Spireites on a two-year deal back in the summer, scored twice as they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with the Championship Baggies. After twice falling behind, Paul Cook's side went into the half-time interval 3-2 up, courtesy of a strike from Tyrone Williams and Dobra's double.

However, just as Chesterfield looked set to record a famous third-round upset, West Brom got themselves back on level terms in the 93rd minute, courtesy of Brandon Thomas-Asante's second goal of the contest. It means the two sides will meet again in just over a week's time at the Hawthorns for a replay.

As disappointing a conclusion as it was for Chesterfield, given they were just minutes away from pulling off a major shock, it was an afternoon that their supporters and Dobra are unlikely to ever forget. The Albanian Under-21 international increased his tally of FA Cup goals for the campaign to four, meaning he is now the second-highest goalscorer in the competition this season.

And Dobra celebrated by replicating Rashford's new goal celebration, standing still and pointing a finger to his head. Rashford first brought out the celebration after scoring in United's 1-0 win over Wolves on New Year's Eve last weekend.

The exact meaning of the celebration is yet to have been revealed, but it is clearly a trend catching on, such was the way Dobra, who is a United supporter, followed suit for Chesterfield. His celebration caught Rashford's attention on Saturday evening and the United academy graduate shared it on his Instagram Story, uploading a picture of Dobra and three emojis, including a handshake.

It suggested that the Reds ace, who has scored five goals in his last five games, was clearly impressed by Dobra's thinking.

Addressing his goals against West Brom, Dobra, as quoted by the Derbyshire Times, said: "The first goal was good play down the right hand side, (Liam) Mandeville has pulled it back, it is a hard finish but I think I made it look a bit easy. And for the second one, (Joe) Quigley has made an unbelievable run, he has had a shot and the keeper has spilled it and I have put in."
