Manchester United 2022/23 third kit 'leaked' online ahead of debut

Manchester United's new third kit for the 2022/23 season has been 'leaked' online ahead of its possible debut against Brentford this weekend. United return to action on Saturday night when they travel to the Brentford Community Stadium to search for their first points of the new season.

Ten Hag's side will need to improve from their dire display against Brighton on the opening weekend, and it seems certain there will be a new look to United in one way at least.

Brentford will be playing in their traditional white and red home shirt for the match, meaning United won't be able to wear either their new home or away kit due to colour clashes.

Instead, it seems like United will need to wear a change of strips, and on Monday morning, their supposed third kit for the 2022/23 campaign was leaked online by one retailer.

A social media post from Pro Direct Soccer displayed a picture of Hannibal Mejbri wearing the new lime green shirt, with a caption stating it was now available to buy, though it has not appeared for sale online yet.

The striking design features a luminous green pattern with darker green detailing and a patterned collar. United's club crest is once again displayed in a shield while the sponsor logos are all in black.

No official release date has been given for United's third strip but it would make sense for it to go on sale ahead of a possible debut in the Premier League this weekend.
