Manchester United 2019/20 third kit 'leaked' in new images

Manchester United's third kit for the upcoming season has reportedly been 'leaked' online in new images which have circulated.

A report from FootyHeadlines suggests United will wear a black third kit for the 2019/20 season, with the kit set to feature a number of design elements which reference Manchester.

According to the report United's new kit will feature a subtle floral patten in the fabric, a print which is supposed to be a reference to the Manchester Rose.

It is also suggested the kit will feature an inscription on the bottom left of the shirt which will read: "110 Years - Manchester Rose - 1909 2019."

This text is supposedly a reference to the FA Cup Final in 1901. United defeated Bristol City in the showpiece event and during the match they wore a white shirt with a red rose on the chest.

The new third shirt is believed to be a predominantly black design with sponsor logos in their traditional white fonts. However, the Adidas manufacturer logo and the club crest are reportedly set to be a bright red.

The latest set of images does not have any photographic evidence of the shorts and socks, but the report seems confident that these will both be black.

According to the report United's new kit is most likely to be launched in August and there is even a suggestion it could be unveiled ahead of the new Premier League season.
