Manchester to Tenerife flight 'bursts wheels on landing', says Spanish Interior Minister

A flight from Manchester to Tenerife has burst its wheels on landing, according to the Spanish Interior Minister.

No injuries have been reported.

Politican Juan Ignacio Zoido announced the news on his Twitter account.

Aviation website Flight Radar 24 showed some other flights to Tenerife Airport arrival were delayed or diverted.

Photos posted to social media purportedly showed the damage. The images have not yet been verified by The Independent.
