Manchester is going to be hotter than Rome today, but experts warn the warm weather isn't going to last.
Expect temperatures of up to 18 degrees, with the region is set to bask in weather hotter than the likes of Madrid and Nice.
Mancunians woke up to a bright and sunny morning today and temperatures are set to carry on rising.
Met Office Meteorologist, Mark Wilson said: "Throughout today there will be plenty of fine weather in Manchester.
"There is a small chance of heavy showers this afternoon but this is mainly expected to in the south of the country.
"Generally a nice day today and pretty warm with highs of up to 18 degrees today."
But the hot weather is here for one day only, so enjoy it while you can.
Whilst it looks like Manchester will be spared of rain for the most-part of the week, temperatures are expect to fall dramatically from Tuesday onwards.

"Through much of this coming week it is going to be dry but with a notable drop in temperature," Mr Wilson added.
"We're looking at a drop to 12 degrees tomorrow.
"For the rest of the week Manchester is staying dry and slightly cloudy but it will be cold with highs of 11 degrees on Wednesday, 12 on Thursday and ten degrees for Friday."
