Manchester’s 'most festive bar' with mince pies, mulled wine and cocktails will return this Christmas

Just a couple of weeks ago, the dates for Manchester's Christmas Markets were confirmed, which is great news for those who can't wait to start planning their trip to the city's annual extravaganza. While the markets will be in full swing from November 10, Manchester will also be welcoming back a pop-up Christmas bar, which made its debut last year.

Miracle on Cross Street is set to fling open its decorative doors in November and is located just a stones throw from the Christmas Markets. After three successful years in Liverpool, the pop-concept landed in Manchester last year and went down a storm with visitors.

As well as being decked out with tinsel and a Christmas tree adorned with baubles, Miracle on Cross Street will also feature stockings, snowflakes and candy canes. On arrival, guests will be treated to a mulled wine or Irish cream, plus as many mince pies as you can eat - or just stash away in your bag or stocking.

They'll also be serving up a range of festive cocktails to get people into the festive spirit. Christmas cocktails including their Christmas Cracker, Apple Pie Martini and the Espresso-Ho-Ho Martini.

Last year's bar was decorated in Christmas themed colours of green, red and gold, and promised to give visitors the full festive experience. Speaking before the debut, Miracle on Cross Street’s Director, John Ennis, said: “We’re so excited to introduce Miracle to Manchester for the first time this year.

"It’s the perfect place for couples, groups of friends or private functions in the most festive environment! “Guests can sit back and soak up the festive fun with a Christmas cocktail and nibbles in hand."

Miracle on Cross Street will open from Monday, November 14. Tickets cost £15 per person and include a 90 minute time slot.
