Manchester restaurant deals and drinks offers for April 2019

There's not much we like more than the early days of spring, but a massive discount on our dinner or our booze is definitely up there.

For those with offices in the vicinity of Tib Lane, beer cafe Bock Biere is offering up an impressive lunch deal that'll have you rolling back to the work.

In the evenings, there's some excellent Asian-inspired set menus, half price burgers and grills, and bottomless prosecco.

Read on to see more of the best deals across Manchester this April.

Bock Biere Cafe

Bock is famed for its Sunday roast fondues, where diners can swirl Yorkshire Pudding waffles through bubbling vats of gravy.

They're also churning out a top-notch range of croque sandwiches - which you can get with fries and a pint for just £8.

The discount is available Monday to Friday between 12pm and 4pm at their bar on Tib Lane.

Tattu

Tattu will launch a new seasonal a la carte menu on April 8, taking influence from across Asia.

New dishes this season will include Salmon Sashizza with yuzu kosho aioli and pickled cucumber, and a chicken curry clay pot with baby onions, coconut and wasabi pea puree. New desserts include a vegan coconut and mango smoothie bowl with granola, lychee and pineapple.

The Taste of Tattu menu is available 12pm – 3pm daily and until 5pm on Fridays, priced at £23 for two courses or £28 for three courses.

Shoryu Ramen

Shoryu's celebrating all things Gudetama - the Japanese cartoon character shaped like an egg yolk - with a special set menu between April 1 and 21.

For £24, diners can get a yellow bun, ramen dish, dessert, a drink, and a limited edition Shoryu and Creighton's chocolate bar.

There'll be the usual range of mid-week deals to go alongside it too - a ramen and a bun for £15 on weekday lunchtimes; a ramen for £7 for students Monday to Wednesday; two-for-one on buns with any ramen main on Mondays; and two-for-one matcha sundaes on Sundays.

Solita

Solita, famed for their outrageous burgers and deep-fried mac and cheese balls, are knocking quite a chunk off the bill at their Northern Quarter restaurant.

The team who are bringing you a Brexit burger as well as the Sunday roast burger are also doing a 25% discount at their restaurant on Turner Street.

The discount's available Sunday to Thursday between 12pm and 6pm.

Get Chucked

Urmston's burger and BBQ joint is back with a vengeance after a brief hiatus earlier this year.

Slow-smoked BBQ meats, beef burgers and homemade rubs and sauces bring a taste of the deep south of America to the Trafford suburb.

They've got five 'fiver deals', available between Monday and Friday, 12pm to 5pm.

Choose from the Chuck Junior, Little Clucker, Chicken in a basket, or BeanBurg burger (all served with fries) or go for a loaded plate of Piggie Deluxe fries - all for £5 each.

The Pen and Pencil

As always, Manchester's New York-inspired diner will cut your food bill in half on Mondays when you pre-book.

As well as the 50% discount to start the week, there's two mains and a bottle of house wine for £30 at other times, and a happy hour between 5pm and 7pm on weekdays.

That means 2 for £10 on cocktails, £15 bottles of prosecco, £10 bottles of house wine and £3 bottles of Modelo Especial.

The Conservatory

A swish, fairly new addition to Manchester, The Conservatory bar sits within the design-led Whitworth Locke hotel.

From this stunning setting you can get bottomless prosecco, wine or beer for just £22 (normally £27) between 6pm and 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays.

Bab and Honey Trap Club

"Kebabs worth sitting down for", they say - and they're right. You can get one of Bab's gourmet kebabs, all served on homemade flatbreads, with a pint of Amstel or a can of Berliner for £12.

The set deal is available between 4pm and 7pm, Monday to Friday. It runs alongside their happy hour - £3 Berliner, £10 house wine, and £15 prosecco.

Then downstairs in Honey Trap Club, happy hour runs from 5pm until 9pm Wednesday to Saturday, with £3 beers, £5 classic cocktails, £3 spirit and mixers and £10 bottles of wine.
