Manchester Pride 2019 is edging ever closer with tens of thousands of people set to descend on the city this weekend.
The four-day event will take place across the bank holiday weekend from Friday August 23 to Monday August 26 with plenty of love at its heart.
The big event will stretching from Mayfield to Deansgate , with The Depot, The Yard, The Sorting Room, The Platform and The Arches as they are transformed into a true rainbow spectacular.
From Manchester Pride Live at the Mayfield itself, headlined by honorary Mancunian Ariana Grande , to the annual Pride Parade, Gay Village Party and the Candlelit Vigil which will round off this year's proceedings in Sackville Gardens, the weekend is sure to be jam-packed and completely unmissible.
But there is another big question, will the sun shine or will rain bring the chance of more rainbows?

According to the Met Office , Greater Manchester will be bright on Friday with isolated showers and potentially sunny intervals in the afternoon.
There will be highs of around 22C in the early evening.
Though it isn't looking too bad for the rest of the weekend, the the unsettled weather continuing across the far north and northwest with wet and windy conditions.
Saturday looks set to remain largely cloudy with highs of 21c but feeling slightly cooler.
Light showers could dampen spirits on Sunday afternoon with temperatures also taking a dip with highs of 18c, so maybe bring a raincoat just in case.
Monday is also set to remain dry with bright spells throughout the day, with highs of 21C.
