The Manchester Marathon 2021 is set to take place this weekend and will see thousands of participants take to the streets for the gruelling 26.2 mile challenge.
The race, which will see participants run through Stretford, Old Trafford, the city centre and south Manchester, will be held on Sunday, October 10.

The Therme event has a long list of official charity partners, including The Army's National Charity, Alzheimer's Society, Cancer Research UK, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and The Christie.
Runners can also raise money for a charity of their choice.
Here's the full route map for the Manchester Marathon 2021.

The Manchester Marathon starts on Chester Road - near the White City roundabout.
Runners will then turn off and make their way past Old Trafford as they head towards Upper Chorlton Road.
They will then head towards the city centre via Chorlton Road, passing Hulme.
Once the runners hit the city centre, they will loop back and make their way towards Stretford and Sale on Bridgewater Way going into Chester Street.
After going past Sale, runners will stay in a relatively straight line towards Manchester Road before turning off towards Timperley via Park Road.
When the runners hit the Altrincham milestone they will begin making their way back to the finish line through Brooklands and Marsland Road.
Once the runners pass near Chorlton-Cum-Hardy on Edge Lane, they will be right near the finish line on Talbot Road through Seymour Grove.
