Manchester hot dog and pizza bar Dogs and Dough announces closure

Manchester city centre bar Dogs and Dough has announced it is closing after six years.

The Bow Lane venue was known for its pizza, hot dogs, craft beer and cocktails - but now owners are calling time on the concept.

In its place, they're promising 'one hell of a reinvention'.

In a Facebook post, they said: "On Sunday 16th June, we will be closing the doors on the hot dog and pizza world. Although this will mark the end of an era, you certainly have not seen the last of us. Stay tuned for more details as we've got one hell of a reinvention coming for you."

They added: "Thanks for your support and for all the amazing memories we have from the last six years."

17 Below - the retro games bar operated by the same team in the basement of the building - will continue to operate as normal.
