Manchester gigs and shows with tickets on sale this week - May 17 to 23

Another week, another wave of exciting shows going on sale.

This week, live music fans can get their hands on tickets for former Pulp guitarist Richard Hawley and CityLife award nominees No Hot Ashes, as well as a show featuring four country music artists under the banner of Introducing Nashville.

Richard Hawley has announced details of a UK and Ireland tour this autumn.

The former Pulp guitarist is set to release his upcoming album, Further, on June 7.

Performing at the Albert Hall in October, Hawley is also set to support Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott at their Stockport shows in June.

Stockport band No Hot Ashes have announced a headline show in Manchester for September 2019.

The band, who were nominated for the CityLife award for best breakthrough act earlier this year, will be treating fans to a preview of their debut album, Hardship Starship, which is out on August 16.

Introducing Nashville is heading to the UK for a five-date tour this autumn.

The line-up will introduce international fans to country artists Danielle Bradbery, Travis Denning, Chris Lane and Rachel Wammack.

Taking place from October 16 to 21, the tour will make stops in Manchester, Gateshead, Glasgow, Brighton and London.

Todrick Hall, O2 Ritz

Todrick Hall will perform in Manchester as one of only two UK dates (manchester evening news)

Todrick Hall has announced two UK dates for 2019, playing at Manchester's O2 Ritz and the London Palladium in October.

The shows form part of the Haus Party World Tour and is expected to be in support of an upcoming LP.

As well as his musical career, he has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and RuPaul and starred in musicals including Chiacgo and Kinky Boots on both Broadway and the West End.

Yung Gravy, aka Matthew Hauri, has announced a Manchester show at Academy 3.

The rapper and songwriter from Minnesota is something of an internet sensation, with his r viral hits Mr Clean and 1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot each racking up over 50 million views on Spotify, and millions more views on YouTube too.

The Howl & The Hum, Deaf Institute

The Howl & The Hum announce second Manchester show for 2019 (manchester evening news)

The Howl & The Hum will play a live show at Deaf Institute this September.

The autumn tour follows up the band's first ever headline tour earlier this year, which included a date at Soup Kitchen.

The band combines dark hypnotic pop with post-punk influences, describing themselves as "a miserable disco who write Bond themes for films where Jimmy is still hung up on that girl".

Great Manchester Run 2019: 10km and half marathon wave start times

Glasgow-based band, Wojtek the Bear, will play at Manchester's Castle Hotel in a couple of week's time.

The Manchester show will be the first ever performance in the city for the band who are hotly tipped as ones to watch in the Scottish music scene.
