Manchester's music scene is as jam-packed as it is varied and this week's selection of tickets up for grabs is no exception.

A live screening of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back accompanied by a live orchestra is coming to Manchester Arena later this year.
The live shows will feature the famous musical score by Oscar-winning composer John Williams, performed live to the film.
This tour follows the success of 2018's arena shows of Star Wars: A New Hope concert series.

Maverick Sabre, Manchester Cathedral

Maverick Sabre, better known as Michael Stafford, has announced a show at Manchester Cathedral later this year.
The English-Irish singer, songwriter and rapper will perform at Manchester Cathedral in November as part of a headline UK tour.
The tour announcement follows the release of his third studio album, When I Wake Up. His first LP for four years, it features singles Drifting and Her Grace.

Action Bronson has announced details of his upcoming UK tour, including a date at the O2 Ritz in July.
Well known for his role in Vice's foodie shows, F*** that's Delicious and more recently the Untitled Action Bronson show, the American rapper tour is in support of his new album, White Bronco.

Eric Paslay, Band on the Wall

Texas-born Eric Paslay has announced a Manchester show this September as part of a European tour.
The country singer and songwriter will perform at Band on the Wall - one of only three UK dates in 2019 as well as Glasgow and London.
Paslay last performed in the UK in late 2018 at the country music festival Country to Country, which was followed by an eight-date tour.

Craig Finn & The Uptown Controllers, Deaf Institute

Deaf Institute is set to welcome Craig Finn & The Uptown Controllers for a live show this October.
Frontman of American indie-rock band The Hold Steady, Craig Finn's latest solo single, Something to Hope For, was released last week ahead of his upcoming third album, I Need a New War, which is due to be released on April 26.
Following a 10-date US tour this June, the Manchester show forms part of a wider UK tour this October.
