Police are treating the incident in Manchester as a “possible terrorist incident”, according to reports.
Senior counter-terrorism officers are reported to be gathering in London following the explosion which occurred at the Manchester Arena at around 10.40pm at te end of a concert by pop star Ariana Grande.
Police are understood to be carrying ot a controlled explosion at the scene following reports of a suspect device.
The explosion at 10.40pm is said to have gone off just outside the main arena in the foyer as thousands of people were leaving the concert by the American pop star.
