Greater Manchester is currently leading the way in the nationwide competition to find the UK’s Favourite Place.
Of course, we think our amazing city region is the best in the world, never mind the UK, and we’d like everyone to vote to prove it.

The poll, run by our sister staycations recommendations site 2Chill , aims to discover the most cherished place in Britain, whether that’s a cosy small town, an exciting big city or an entire county.
To make it more exciting, the bottom 10 places on the leaderboard are eliminated every Friday.
This morning those axed were: Staffordshire, Bath, Essex, Lancashire, Surrey, Southend, Sunderland, Kent, Hove and Berkshire.
Even though Manchester is currently in number four place, it all could change, so make sure you vote .
We need to ensure we stay ahead of Barrow, who is on our heels in the leaderboard.
