Manchester Crown Court will reopen tomorrow following issues with power

Manchester Crown Court will be 'back to normal' tomorrow following today's closure.

The building, located in Crown Square, was closed from this morning due to issues with power.

A spokesperson earlier told people waiting outside that there had been a power cut over the weekend and they had been unable to switch it back on.

Due to health and safety concerns, courts weren't running and the building remained closed all day.

All cases listed today (September 20) will be heard tomorrow.

The court has now confirmed it will reopen tomorrow and will be 'back to normal'.
