It was no surprise to see our fans pay respect to Cristiano Ronaldo and his family in the seventh minute of Tuesday’s match with Manchester United. That's what we are like as a fanbase.
If you contrast that with the Hillsborough minute’s silence in our FA Cup semi-final with Manchester City, and the idiots some clubs have, it is a chance to mock the disaster for them. Unfortunately for City, who no doubt have some great fans, it spoiled it for them and made a mockery of the club.
It was probably only about ten per cent of their fans, but that is ten per cent too many. It absolutely stank to high heaven and was disgusting. The good fans of Manchester City shouldn’t suffer but they brought the club into disrepute by doing that.

To be fair to the club and Pep Guardiola, they said the right things after the game and took action. Similar scenes have since been witnessed in our game with Manchester United regarding Hillsborough, and it just seems to be never-ending.
Since lockdown, a lot of away fans have been wanting to sing a lot of nasty things about Liverpool. It is just classless and shows the mentality of these people. If Liverpool fans did something like that, I would be disgusted.
Everton could be blown away like United if we play our cards right
If we play like we did on Tuesday against Everton, they won’t have a chance at Anfield. They are nowhere near where we are as a team and that’s the way it is. I’m sorry Everton fans, but that is the truth.
Let's hope Liverpool raise the bar, like they have done the last couple of games. If we are able to hit those heights the team have been showing of late, we could be treated to another wonderful display against a rival side.
