Manchester City XI vs Wolves: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, injury latest for Premier League today

A Manchester City side in ominous form have largely a clean bill of health ahead of today’s Premier League game at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

With Kevin De Bruyne back in first-team action, the only fresh concerns are Phil Foden and Nathan Ake, who both limped off against RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday evening and will be assessed in the hours before kick-off.

While potentially missing Foden in particular can never be considered a good thing, City have had so many points of attack this season, you’d expect them to find a way of troubling their opposition, even in the absence of a natural centre-forward.

Indeed, the likes of Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva have stepped up to the plate of late and, frankly, the options in Pep Guardiola’s squad should worry any team in Europe.

Man City predicted XI: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Rodri, De Bruyne, Gundogan; Silva, Grealish, Jesus.

Venue: Etihad Stadium
