Manchester City XI vs Southampton: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news, latest injury list for FA Cup today

Manchester City are looking to reach the FA Cup semi-finals as they travel to Southampton this afternoon, but know they are unlikely to have it all their own way.

While City would surely be considered favourites in most domestic games, their two games against the Saints this season have yielded only two Premier League points, with Ralph Hasentuttl certainly able to make life difficult for Pep Guardiola.

Luckily for City, there are only two injury concerns heading into Sunday’s game. Ruben Dias will miss out, although the influential defender is expected sooner than first thought following a hamstring injury.

Cole Palmer, meanwhile, is the other doubt but could at least feature on the bench after his foot problem.

Guardiola took the rather strange decision not to call on any of his attackers against Crystal Palace earlier this week, so rotation seem likely.

Man City predicted XI (4-3-3): Ederson, Walker, Laporte, Stones, Cancelo, Rodri, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Jesus, Foden, Sterling

Injured: Dias (hamstring)
