Manchester City vs Southampton
Premier League 2018/19
Venue: Etihad Stadium
Kick-off: 3pm BST
Manchester City return to Premier League action this afternoon with the visit of Southampton.
Only Huddersfield have scored less goals in the league than Saints this season with six in 10 games a sorry return for Mark Hughes’ side.
It doesn’t bode well for their clash against a side who have the best defensive record in the league having only let three slip by so far this term.

Team news
Manchester City made nine changes for the visit of Southampton in the Premier League.
John Stones and Leroy Sane were the only players to retain their places from the side that beat Fulham in the Carabao Cup on Thursday.
Striker Sergio Aguero was among those to return while Bernardo Silva replaced the injured Kevin De Bruyne. Youngster Brahim Diaz, who scored both goals against Fulham, did not even make the bench.
Shane Long replaced Charlie Austin for Southampton, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg returned from illness and James Ward-Prowse also started.
Head to head
City just about shave it as far as past meetings are concerned, winning 32 of 88. Saints have managed 31 wins in that time.
