Manchester City vs Fulham
EFL Cup 2018/19
Venue: Etihad Stadium
Kick-off: 7:45pm BST

Manchester City’s defence of their League Cup crown continues at home to Fulham tonight.

It’s a quick turnaround for Pep Guardiola’s side, who are in action against Tottenham in the Premier League on Monday night.

For the Cottagers, they couldn’t pick worse opposition if they tried given their recent form, having shipped 15 goals in their last four games.

Team news

Amid a busy fixture period, another start for Phil Foden could beckon on Thursday. The 18-year-old was superb in the third round victory over Oxford United, having a hand in all three goals.

Brahim Diaz could also be in line for a start along with fringe players Danilo and Oleksander Zinchenko also in contention.

Fulham’s injuries have cleared up over the last week with Joe Bryan the only remaining absentee with a hamstring problem.

Kevin McDonald will serve a one-match suspension after picking up two yellow cards in the heavy defeat to Bournemouth.
