Manchester City 'target' Kieran Tierney in late summer bid

Arsenal star Kieran Tierney is the target of a swoop from Manchester City. according to reports in England.

City are looking to replace Oleksandr Zinchenko, following his move to the Emirates, and see Tierney as his replacement.

The 25-year-old former Celtic hero, who is contracted at Arsenal until 2026, suffered an injury-plagued season and played just 22 times for the Gunners.

Zinchenko's arrival gives him further competition for a place in Mikel Arteta's side, and a move could be attractive for the Muirhouse man.

Should Man City swoop for him, it's believed that Arsenal will want at least £50m for the Scotland star, which is good news for Celtic, who are said to have inserted a 15 per cent sell-on clause to the deal when they sold him to Arsenal for £25m in 2019.
