Manchester City star Raheem Sterling plays cheeky prank on Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold

Manchester City's Raheem Sterling was involved in playing a cheeky prank on Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

During a training camp at St George's Park, the England team-mates sat down for a game of FIFA 19.

What the Reds right-back wasn't made aware of was Sterling's controller wasn't actually connected to the console.

Instead it was ePremier League champion F2Tekkz who was hidden behind-the-scenes playing on behalf of the Man City goalscorer.

In the video which was shared on England's official YouTube, Alexander-Arnold picks Paris Saint-Germain while the former Liverpool player is Juventus.

F2Tekkz, whose real name is Donovan Hunt, is one of the world's top ranked gamers and quickly got into his rhythm.

The Man City player frustrates Alexander-Arnold as he races into an early lead, Sterling says: "You're not on my level!"

Pep Guardiola's star player asks: "Am I allowed to film this?" To which the 20-year-old responds: "No for copyright reasons!"

Sterling scores another and Alexander-Arnold argues: "I don't play Xbox" but the 24-year-old comically replies: "I don't play Xbox either."

The match eventually finished 5-0 and Dele Ali can be seen in the corridor telling the full-back to do a forfeit.

The Tottenham playmaker shouts: "Walk like a dog, on all fours."

The young gamer, who was crowned ePremier League champion representing Liverpool last month, finally appears to reveal it was a set-up.
