Manchester City have signed Oleksandr Zinchenko from the Russian club Ufa. The 19-year-old former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder played in all three of Ukraine’s matches at Euro 2016.

Zinchenko’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium follows those of Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Aaron Mooy this summer.

A tweet from the Premier League club read: “Manchester City are pleased to announce the transfer of Ukrainian midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko from FC Ufa.”

Ufa say a “long-term cooperation” agreement between the two clubs is part of the deal.

The move follows the introduction of the new Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, to supporters on Sunday.
