However, former City man Hart has stated that the Clarets shouldn't be underestimated.

“There’s not many secrets about what’s coming their way,” warned the keeper on Sky Sports.

“The boys are in a good moment. They will come with a lot of energy. Wood and Barnes are playing well up front and causing a lot of headaches.

“That’s the Premier League, it’s hard to win games.

“I’m not going to give anything away about the planning. But the formula is pretty simple.”

Sean Dyche’s Burnley have been resurgence since Christmas, climbing from 18th in the league to relative safety - beating the likes of Wolves, Spurs and drawing with Man United on the way.

And Hart is confident that his side can cause City problems as Liverpool hope for a slip-up.

He said: “There are some moments in the season where you celebrate wins like that but this isn’t a moment.

“They’ve got to come to Burnley and my side are playing really well.

“It’s a different type of game.

“They will be playing against a team who will not lie down. It will be very difficult for them.”
