Bernardo scored City's fourth goal against Watford after just 15 minutes before scoring two in 12 minutes after the interval to complete his hat-trick - the first of his career so far.
City fans were delighted to see the playmaker scoop the match ball as City came agonisingly close to equalling Manchester United's record 9-0 Premier League victory against Ipswich.
