Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has put pen to paper on a new contract with the club.
The former Borussia Dortmund man has been a key player for Pep Guardiola and his effort during City 's recent success has been rewarded with a new deal.
Gundogan inks a new contract that will tie him to the Citizens until 2023.
He became Guardiola's first signing as Manchester City boss and has made 114 appearances in the sky blue shirt, scoring 17 goals.
After signing the deal, Gundogan told mancity.com: "I have hugely enjoyed the last three years here at City and everyone at the club has helped make me feel at home from my very first day."
With his role becoming increasingly important in the City first-team setup, fans have been quick to praise the club's decision to extend his stay on Manchester.
