Manchester City fans have named Ruben Dias as their Player of the Season so far after over 5000 people voted in a MEN Sport poll.
The Portuguese centre-back has enjoyed a fantastic debut campaign at the Etihad Stadium, which has seen City boast the best defensive record in the Premier League.
The league title seems a formality for Pep Guardiola's men despite Saturday's surprise 2-1 defeat to Leeds United, with City needing only 11 points from their final six matches.
Dias, in particular, has been a standout performer and is high up in the betting to be named PFA Footballer of the Year.
It's little surprise then, that 43% of City fans who voted in MEN Sport's poll named him as their Player of the Year for the Blues.
Dias received a whopping 2239 votes, with Ilkay Gundogan coming in as a close second.
The German midfielder has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season which tallied with him receiving 2029 votes, 39% of the overall share.
Gundogan was named Premier League Player of the Month for January and February after his goal-scoring exploits which helped carry Manchester City to the top of the division in the absence of Kevin de Bruyne.
John Stones was next in the list at 9% with 465 votes, whilst De Bruyne and Joao Cancelo each earned 4% with 224 and 223 votes respectively.
The Portuguese defender has established himself as a first-team regular under Guardiola this campaign, whilst De Bruyne has the second-highest number of assists in the league, with 11, despite missing a portion of the campaign with injury.
