Manchester City are facing a Champions League ban over alleged financial breaches - according to a report.
The Premier League champions are being probed amid claims of irregularities first published in a series of damaging leaks by German newspaper Der Spiegel.
Members of UEFA 's financial control board are said to have convened in Nyon, Switzerland a fortnight ago to draw conclusions on the case.
And, according to The New York Times , they will seek at least a one-season ban for the Etihad club.

Man City have denied any wrongdoing, dismissing the allegations in a statement earlier this year.
They said: "The accusation of financial irregularities are entirely false.
“The club’s published accounts are full and complete and a matter of legal and regulatory record.”
The Abu-Dhabi owned club are desperate to add the Champions League to their trophy haul after a period of dominance in English football.
They wrapped up the Premier League title with a 4-1 win over Brighton at the weekend and can complete an unprecedented domestic Treble if they beat Watford in the FA Cup Final this coming Sunday.
