City dispatched Wycombe Wanderers 6-1 on Tuesday night with goals from Kevin de Bruyne, a brace from Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden, Ferran Torres and a debut goal for youngster Cole Palmer.
The Hammers knocked out Manchester United on Wednesday night at Old Trafford thanks to a Manuel Lanzini first-half goal.
City will be looking to win their fifth League Cup in a row, setting a new record.
The game will be played at the London Stadium on either the 26th or 27 th October.
