Manchester City considering Paulo Dybala swoop as agent visits England and other transfer rumours

Manchester City are pondering on whether to submit an offer to Paulo Dybala with the striker set to leave Juventus at the end of the season.

The Argentine will not be renewing his deal at the Serie A giants which has put several European clubs on alert. One of those is City, who - according to Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness) - are ‘thinking carefully’ about a move.

The report claims Dybala’s agent is currently in England as he scouts which Premier League club would suit him best. However, it is Atletico Madrid - City’s Champions League quarter-final opponents - who are considered favourites to land the 28-year-old.

Since his move from Palermo in 2015, Dybala has won five Serie A titles and four Coppa Italias. In the 283 matches he has played in, the striker has scored 113 times - two of them coming against Manchester United and Tottenham in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, defensive flop Pedro Porro has been linked with a switch away from the Etihad despite being yet to make his senior debut. Guardiola paid Spanish club Girona around £11m for the full-back’s services in 2019.

However, the 22-year-old has not played a single minute of first team football, instead being loaned out to Real Valladolid and current club Sporting Lisbon.

The Portuguese side wish to make his loan move permanent after hitting form this season, as per local news outlet Correio da Manha (through Sport Witness). Part of the loan deal saw a £7.2 option-to-buy clause inserted, which Sporting now wish to activate.

But Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have all registered an interest in the Spain international, who featured against his parent club in the Last 16 of the Champions League. The source says that should a bulky offer of at least £25m come in for him from either club, Sporting may well sell him on for a quick profit.

That said, Porro seems to have found his groove in Lisbon and may not be ready to move on again so soon.
