Enes Unal has completed his move to Manchester City from Bursaspor for a fee believed to be in the region of £2m.

As reported by the Guardian on Friday the highly-rated 18-year-old completed a medical before being officially announced on Monday as Manuel Pellegrini’s first major signing of the summer.

“Manchester City are pleased to announce the signing of Turkey international striker Enes Unal from @BursasporSk ,” the club tweeted.

Unal has one senior cap for Turkey and was a prolific finisher at junior level. In 110 appearances for Bursaspor reserves he registered 182 goals. For the Turkey Under-16 team he scored 24 times in 25 games and was subsequently moved into the Under-21 national side.

In 2013, aged 16, Unal became the youngest player to score in the Turkish top flight, netting in a match against Galatasaray.
