Eric Garcia and Taylor Harwood-Bellis have been included in Manchester City's travelling squad for the final Champions League group game against Dinamo Zagreb, but John Stones and David Silva miss out.
Stones limped out of the Manchester Derby defeat at the weekend and did not train before the City squad flew out to Croatia. Also absent was David Silva, who was not part of the squad confirmed to be travelling from a windy Manchester Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
With Fernandinho suspended for the fixture after picking up three bookings in the Champions League, Pep Guardiola has called up Garcia and Harwood-Bellis, who partnered together in the Carabao Cup win at Preston earlier in the season. Nicolas Otamendi is the other recognised central defender.
Phil Foden is guaranteed to start, according to Guardiola, but no other academy players are included in the squad. With the U19s taking on their Dinamo counterparts in the Youth League on Wednesday, though, there is still a possibility of more youngsters making up the senior squad.
As it stands, Scott Carson would be expected to be the only player who travelled to not make the matchday 18, meaning Garcia and Harwood-Bellis will make the bench at least.
