Counter-terrorism police are investigating after three people were stabbed in Manchester's Arndale shopping centre.
The victims are in hospital following the attack just after 11am on Friday. At least one person is "seriously injured".
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of serious assault and is being held in custody.
Witnesses described a scene of terror as shoppers, some with injuries, sought refuge in stores.
