Cardiff City boss Mick McCarthy has told Liverpool to “sort themselves out” over the future of Harry Wilson and Sheyi Ojo.
The duo are currently on loan with the Bluebirds this term, and have been performing well for the Championship outfit.
Wilson has spent the past three seasons on loan away from Anfield, making just two first-team appearances for the Reds.
Ojo has been out on loan for the past four seasons, and the pair are contract at Liverpool until 2023.
McCarthy says the club would like to keep both Wilson and Ojo next season, but does not think it’s likely to happen.
The former Republic of Ireland manager also told Liverpool to “sort themselves out” over the players’ futures.
"I don't think that will be the case," McCarthy told Wales Online, when asked if he thinks the pair will return next season.
He added: "Both Harry and Sheyi have got a year left and a year's option apparently.
"Harry has been at about four clubs and he wants a home somewhere, he wants to play permanently somewhere, and so does Sheyi.

"Loaning them out next year they'd be in the last year of their contract. Liverpool are going to have to sort themselves out - that's nothing to do with us.
"Would I have them back? Yeah, of course, they're really good players. But I don't think it will happen."
