The manager of the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre brilliantly silenced a recent review labelling Ireland's favourite attraction "disgraceful".
After a visit to the beautiful attraction in December, a domestic tourist lambasted the obstruction of the view by a wall and the fee of €10 to visit the centre.
They left a one star review and described their visit as "shameful" - a stark contrast to the 10,000 plus visitors who gave it a full five start rating.
And out of the almost 14,000 reviews in total, just 157 are one star - a testament to the popularity of the spot.
But the staff at the Cliffs of Moher were kind enough to reply to the criticism, offering up a brilliant answer to all of the visitor's gripes.
The manager of the visitor centre clapped back on Tripadvisor, saying: "The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience is a developed site for the safe viewing of the Cliffs of Moher. The Liscannor flags form part of this safety. The Cliffs of Moher are a natural environment and as such are an area of danger should visitors be allowed uncontrolled access to the Cliff edge. Furthermore, the area is a Special Protected Area under EU Directive and so the natural habitats must also be protected.
"The coastal walk, which is a high difficulty grade 5 walk, links the Villages of Liscannor and Doolin and passes through the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience while being managed separately. While new walls, flags stones and pathways have been constructed along the 1 Kilometer Zone North and South of the Visitor Experience, these form part of Safety Repair works carried out by Clare County Council to improve safety in the area and again to protect the habitats. Due to the possibility of Landslides and Rockfalls in the area, uncontrolled access was a danger to walkers. The improvements have made it much safer for all.
"The admission ticket gives access to all on site facilities including the Safe Viewing Platforms, Visitor Centre, Retail Outlets, Catering, Toilets, Exhibition, Wifi and Parking. As well as this we have a dedicated team onsite to offer assistance to all our visitors such as information, guided tours, first aid and mobility assistance, all while maintaining the site which includes ongoing repairs, litter management and protection of the environment.
"The site also supports the local economy and provides approximately 170 jobs during the peak season. Our best rates are available online where we offer reduced pricing for visitors who choose to visit earlier in the morning or later in the evening, outside of our peak times.
"We hope this clarifies the need for access control to the cliffs edge, why we charge admission to the site and what it covers."
