A man and a woman were wounded in a shooting Friday in Lawndale on the West Side.
They were in a vehicle about 6:12 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Polk Street when someone approached them and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The woman, 20, was hit in the arm and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, police said. The 21-year-old man was struck in the leg and refused medical attention.
A police source said the incident appears to be domestic-related.
Area North detectives are investigating.
