Man, woman drown on NSW Central Coast beach

A man and woman believed to be in their 40s have died after being pulled unconscious from the water at a beach on the NSW Central Coast.

Emergency services were called to Frazer Beach at Frazer Park shortly before 4.20pm on Wednesday following reports of two unresponsive patients.

Witnesses began CPR before paramedics arrived, but neither of the patients could be revived.

The pair are yet to be identified.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
