An elderly man with terminal cancer married his partner from his hospital bed in a heartwarming ceremony.

Malcolm Eyles, 68, tied the knot with his fiancé of 10 years, Maureen Blackwell, from his hospital bed at Worcestershire Acute Royal Hospital on Monday.

The wedding was arranged at short notice and nurses at the hospital helped organise the intimate ceremony.

Two cardiology nurses witnessed the ceremony for them while a group of nurses took the honours of tossing flower petals at the couple in celebration.
