Man with syringe threatens staff and steals cash in terrifying robbery in Co Dublin

A man armed with a syringe threatened staff and stole cash in a terrifying robbery in Co Dublin.

Gardai are on the hunt after the man entered the Maxol garage on Mespil Road just off Baggot street yesterday in a shocking daylight robbery.

The busy garage at the heart of the city's southside lays just beside a section of the Grand Canal which has had a number of issues with drug users in recent years, Dublin Live reports.

Shaken staff escaped unharmed but the man got away with cash with gardai now investigating.
