Man with Rangers tattoo missing for five days sparks desperate police search

Police are appealing for information after a man vanished from West Dunbartonshire last week.

Norman Campbell, from Dumbarton, disappeared from the Clydebank area on Thursday, April 21.

The 54-year-old has since been reported missing, but cops believe he may have returned to his hometown.

Officers probing his disappearance think he might have been near the Rock Bowling Club in Castle Road, Dumbarton, on Monday, April 25.

Norman is described as being five foot, eight inches tall and of a medium build with short, dyed blonde hair and a Rangers tattoo on his right arm.

Police searching for Norman are "becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare".

Anyone who thinks they might have seen him, or who has information on his whereabouts, is urged to come forward.

Inspector Bart Simonis said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Norman’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact police.

"Anyone with information should contact police via 101, quoting incident 3499 of Monday, April 25."
