A man reportedly armed with a knife was one of two people arrested after a break-in at Stanlow Refinery.
Cheshire Police were called to the refinery in Ellesmere Port at 9.30pm on Saturday, February 25 following reports of intruders on the site. A number of officers and a canine unit, PD Toro were called to the site and started searching the area.
Police said that around two hours later, two men were find hiding in undergrowth before fleeing the area. From there PD Toro ten located and detained both of the men.

Two men, aged 34 and 35 from Liverpool were arrested on suspicion of theft. The 34-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife.
They have both been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
