Man who threw pot of boiling water on two people facing jail

A man who admitted throwing a pot of boiling water on two people is facing jail.

Tomasz Zukowski, 38, appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court last week but was unable to be sentenced due to reports being unavailable.

The High Coats resident assaulted a man and woman in the building in November 2017.

He threw the boiling water onto the head and body of his male victim before striking him on the head with a golf club.

Zukowski also threw the water onto a female victim.

He will return to court next month to hear his fate after Sheriff Morag Galbraith said: “There’s been an error at the court’s end with the reports not being ordered.

“That isn’t your fault.

“I’ll rearrange for May 15 once reports previously called for have been done.”
