Man who said women giving birth are 'just dramatic' squeals on labour pain simulator

A man from Wallasey has become a viral sensation after hooking himself up to a machine which simulates the same feeling or same pain as labour contractions.

Scott Lowe, who often uses the social media app TikTok uploaded a video of himself using a labour simulator after telling his girlfriend and sister "men would be able to give birth no problem whatsoever".

Scott, 27, was watching the Channel 4 show, One Born Every Minute when he made the bold claim regarding labour pains.

His girlfriend and sister decided to put him to the test and hooked him up to a contraction machine, a decision he quickly regretted.

The contraction machine, commonly known as a Tens machine, has often been used by men who don't quite believe contractions in childbirth can be that painful.

The idea is for men to attach electrodes to their abdomens, which then simulates the feeling and sensation of contractions.

Soon realising his mistake, Scott pleaded with his girlfriend and sister to stop.

“Don’t Kate because I'm proper scared now, is that what you go through? Is that the highest one? Turn it off, turn it off. Oh that’s terrible that.”

At the end of the video, Scott was man enough to stand up and apologise to all women who have gone through childbirth: He said: “I’m so sorry, I won’t say that again, you women are troopers”
