Man who married rag doll distraught as wife 'falls ill' and is treated by medics

A man married to a rag doll was left distraught believing his wife 'fell ill' needing emergency treatment.

Cristian Montenegro, 27, recently hit the headlines after revealing that he and his wife Natalia Ortiz had welcomed their third rag doll baby into the world.

Now Cristian has shared another update from his controversial relationship, when it appeared his wife had taken a bad turn with her health.

A team of paramedics arrived in an ambulance to treat Natalia who Cristian, from Bogot, Colombia, said had suffered a headache and fainted.

In a clip shared online, the rag doll is shown laying in the back of an ambulance while paramedics attend to her.

In the video, Cristian can be heard saying: "She had a headache and fainted.

"I called you because I don't want her to die, she is the mother of my daughter. Everything will be fine, my love."

The paramedic replies "we are going to take her to the hospital, and make sure that she is well, I'm going to take her vitals," while appearing as if they are trying not to laugh.

Baffled users have rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts, with opinion divided.

One worried user commented: "What happened to Natalia?" followed by a crying emoji.

"I hope Natalie gets well soon," Elkin said.

However, some people have been left in disbelief at the whole thing.

Esilena said: "Nothing to see there."

Yenny said "may God forgive me but so much theatre" while another person joked "does cotton bruise?"

Cristian began dating Natalia after growing tired of being single for a number of years.

He has previously confronted his followers about their concerns surrounding the relationship.

He said: "If it weren't for the dolls, I would be more alone than anyone. At least I have something.

"With my Natalia, we watch TV and talk about everything. They don't know how much I love her."

It is unclear if the care from the paramedic is a prank or a genuine incident.

The video has generated controversy with local news sources saying Bogota Health Secretariat has announced it will investigate the paramedics for treating a rag doll.

Last year, Cristian revealed his plans for a dream wedding to his bride Natalia on TikTok.

After growing tired of being single, he got into a relationship with the rag doll and claims the pair are now married.

The couple has been together for two years and videos show them shopping, out for walks, and helping their rag doll children with their homework.

Cristian's family even seem to have met Natalia, according to his social media.

Although his lifestyle might be unique, Cristian is not the only person to start a relationship with a rag doll.

A woman named Meirivone Rocha Moraes married her doll Marcelo, that was made for her by her mum.

Speaking last year, she said: "He doesn't fight with me, he doesn't argue and he just understands me. Marcelo is a great and faithful husband. He is such a man and all women envy him.

"When my mum made Marcelo and first introduced me to him, I fell in love with him. It was love at first sight.

"The wedding was a wonderful day for me, very important, very emotional. It rained a lot but it was wonderful."
