Man who likes walking along country paths has been missing for a week

Police admit they are growing “increasingly concerned” for a man from Ceredigion who enjoys walking along country paths but has not been seen for almost a week.

David Hugh Jones, aged 54, has been missing since last Friday (November 15).

He lives in the Ceredigion village of Tre’r Ddol, around nine miles north of Aberystwyth.

He was last seen walking in a street in the village on Friday lunchtime, and police are now concerned for his safety.

Mr Jones is described as being 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with dark, short brown hair.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for David Hugh Jones from Tre’r Ddol, between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth.

“David has not been seen since Friday. He enjoys walking along country paths around Tre’r Ddol.”

Police are calling on anyone with any information regarding Mr Jones’ whereabouts to contact them by calling 101.
