Man who died at reservoir was 'honest, loyal and hardworking' father

A man who died at a reservoir in an incident involving a quad bike has been described as an "honest, loyal and hardworking husband, father and son."

Adam Llewellyn, from Bridgend , died following an incident involving a quad bike on the grounds of Eglwys Nunudd Reservoir, Margam, on September 5.

The family of Mr Llewellyn, 41, said: “Adam was an honest, loyal and hardworking husband, father and son.

“A giant to his children, generous with his time and always giving to others. He held a huge sense of pride in all that he and his family achieved.

“He was very well respected in both the farming and local community and the sense of loss felt by all those who knew him is a testament to Adam’s love for his work and dedication to providing for his family.

“We are understandably devastated by what has happened and would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support, strength and kindness shown to our family at this sad time.”

An investigation into the incident is now being carried out by South Wales Police and the Health and Safety Executive who said their enquiries are ongoing.
