Man who died after falling from Leeds city centre car park is named

The man who died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Leeds city centre has been named as Joseph Huddlestone.

The 39-year-old from York was pronounced dead in Trevelyan Square, shortly after 8.30am on Thursday, June 20.

West Yorkshire Police say he died after falling from one of the floors of Trinity Leeds Car Park.

An inquest into Mr Huddlestone's death was opened and adjourned at Wakefield Coroner's Court on Wednesday, July 3.

The coroner will look to establish the circumstances surrounding his death when the inquest resumes. A date for the next hearing has not been announced.
