Man who died after disturbance at Scots home named

A man who died in Wishaw on Friday after a disturbance has been named.

Kevan Doyle, 43, was found dead by cops at Glencleland Road on October 28 at around 8.50pm, after responding to reports of a rammy.

His death is currently being treated as "unexplained", with a police probe underway to establish the full circumstances.

It is understood that nobody has been charged in connection with the incident so far.

A statement from Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a disturbance at Glencleland Road in Wishaw around 8.50pm on Friday, 28 October.

“Emergency services attended and a 43-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing.”
