A man who died a week after a hit and run in Bolton has been named.
John Richardson, who was 59, passed away in hospital seven days after the collision on Rishton Lane.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 10pm on September 20 to reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
Mr Richardson suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a silver Vauxhall Vectra, which drove off from the scene.
He was rushed to hospital, but sadly died on September 27.

GMP say the Vectra was later found abandoned on Heywood Gardens.
Sgt Andrew Page, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said he wants to provide answers to Mr Richardson's family, who are being supported by specially trained officers.
He said officers were also hoping to speak to the occupants of a red VW Gold, which was seen by witnesses on Rishton Lane immediately after the collision.
Sgt Page said: "First and foremost, I want to extend my most since condolences to Mr Richardson’s family as they come to terms with their loss.
"We are providing them with support from specially trained officers at this difficult time.
"John’s death was incredibly tragic and we want to provide answers for his family. I want to urge anybody who may have information about the circumstances surrounding the incident to please contact us.
"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who can help us trace the occupants of the red VW Golf that was spotted at the scene of the collision."
